Within Huppla Pasa Tisc (HPT), a member of Corporate Sector Authority (CSA), we use a mission-based system. Each mission will earn merit points as well as other activities (recruitment, being active in the faction, gaining additional business for HPT and/or CSA, etc.). These points go towards your rank with the company and CSA.
If you earn your way up to Technician, for example, and you want to transfer to CSA, then an equivalent rank in their structure is given to you based on the amount of merit points earned.
Rank Level 3: Technician - Overview
Technicians are the backbone of the ground floor work within CSA. These individuals have attained a level of understanding of how the Corporation works that they often work without close supervision.
Administratively, Technicians are also the supervisors of various recruits and apprentices. They put the action into a plan when handed tasks from higher ranks. They strive to meet the stringent demands of the group, advance their careers immeasurably. The basic premise behind a technician is that, upon being handed a task, they are effectively organized and thoroughly knowledgeable enough about the Corporation to know exactly where to find the tools they need to accomplish the task assigned.
They are often granted commander-ship of a few squads of space-faring vessels as well as any vehicles needed to accomplish their tasks. Working alone, or in groups of 3-4, Technicians can just about accomplish any task assigned them.
